Attention FBLA Students and Advisers:

Arizona Phi Beta Lambda is offering a $400 scholarship to be awarded to an extraordinary member of FBLA in the state of Arizona.  The scholarship may be used to help subsidize the student’s travels to the 2010 National Leadership Conference or may be applied towards other school or extra-curricular related expenses.

Requirements

The following prerequisites must be met:

·       Must be an FBLA dues paid member in the state of Arizona

·       Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

The following documentation must accompany this application:

·       An essay not to exceed one page on the following topic: “How Has FBLA Enhanced Your Leadership Skills?”

·       A letter of recommendation from a local adviser or teacher

·       An unofficial transcript of grades

·       A one page resume with emphasis on FBLA involvement

Submissions

You will be emailing the four required materials as attachments to scholarship@azpbl.org with the subject of “Application – Your Full Name.” In the body of the email include your name, school, and grade level.

Deadline

The application is due March 31, 2010 by midnight. The winner will be announced at the opening session of the 2010 Arizona FBLA State Conference.
